Can I Adjust The Step-Over Height for the Mesh Patio Pet Door?

Yes. The Mesh Patio Pet Door (Version 2 – from June 2025) can be adjusted to raise the flap height, making it more comfortable for larger or taller pets to pass through.

Step-Over Risers

• Adds: 75 mm / 3" height per riser

• Purpose: Raises the flap position for taller pets, reducing crouching and making entry easier

• Construction: Powder-coated solid aluminium

• Installation: Slides on and attaches with supplied screws

• Stacking Limit: Maximum of 2 risers per door

Using risers helps:

• Prevent pets from crouching or awkward movement

• Reduce strain on joints

• Ensure smoother, safer access

NOTE:  If there is a step down on one side of your door, you may need to size up to a larger pet door rather than adding a riser, ensuring the door accommodates entry from both height levels.
