Setting different door modes allow you to control your pets access. The Microchip Pet Door has five modes you can chose between:
LOCK: Door is locked. Pet cannot come in (enter) or out (exit) the house.
ROAM: Pet is free to roam with linked chip or tag. The door will be locked for other pets or intruders.
IN: Pet can enter in with linked chip or tag, but once in they will not be allow out.
OUT: Pet can exit with linked chip or tag, but once out they will not be allowed back in.
OPEN: Pet is free to roam in or out, without linked chip or tag. Be mindful, this also means any pet or animal intruder can enter.
