This article covers the current V2 Glass Patio Pet Door (released June 2025 onwards).
Note: This product is not a security door. For better security, we recommend using one of the included semi-permanent locking methods. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their door is securely locked.
Locking Options – V2 Glass Patio Pet Door
1. Temporary (No-Drill) Installation
Sliding Door Bar Lock (sold separately)
Locks the sliding door to the pet door without screws or drilling
Ideal for renters or frequent removal
Sold via Spare Parts
2. Secure (Semi-Permanent) Installation – Included Parts
Internal Lock Side
Reinstall your sliding door's internal hook directly onto the pet door frame
External Lock Side
Use the supplied Lock Bracket Pack to relocate your external catch to the pet door
Frame Side Install (Brackets Drilled into the Sliding Door Track Frame)
Most secure method – uses the supplied Frame Bracket Pack drilled into your sliding door frame
If you are not installing with frame brackets, you must use a Sliding Door Bar Lock for semi-permanent locking
