Mesh Patio - Spare Parts - How Do I Replace The Locking Clips?

You can purchase replacement Locking Clips from the Spare Parts section on our website, specifically for the Mesh Patio Pet Door. 

1. Loosen the screws at the top and bottom of the door.
   Tip: You don’t need to remove them completely—just loosen enough so they no longer protrude into the channel.
   
     

2. Lay the pet door flat with the clips facing up. Slide the top panel downward over the flap to separate it from the bottom panel.
   
   

3. Remove the old clips by unscrewing them and taking the bolt out of the track.
   
   

4. Install the new clips and insert the bolt back into the track.
   Tip: Twisting both clips at the same time can help them tighten more evenly.

5. Lay the top panel with clips facing down and place the bottom panel on top.
   
   

6. Align the the back of bolts so they sit parallel with the track.
   
   
   

7. Slide the bottom panel into the track and continue sliding the two panels together until the plastic rails are fully inserted at both ends.
   Note: Make sure both ends are aligned - both must slide in at the same time.
   
   

8. Tighten all four screws to lock the panels securely in place.
