Note: If installing into a sliding door, make sure there is enough clearance to operate the door normally. The Ultra Clear frame protrudes 10mm (0.4"), which can impact sliding door movement if space is tight.

Glass Cutting:
Double-glazed panels are more complex than single-pane glass, made up of two layers with a sealed air gap. Cutting into double glazing typically costs more and must be done carefully to avoid damaging the seal.
Energy Efficiency:
Altering a double-glazed panel can affect its insulation performance. Make sure that any tunnel partitions or gaps around the pet door are sealed properly to maintain energy efficiency.
