Deluxe Aluminium - General - What Size Hole Do I Need to Cut for the Pet Door?

To install your Hakuna Pets Deluxe Aluminium Pet Door, you’ll need to cut an opening in your door that matches the following dimensions:

All Deluxe Aluminium Pet Doors come with a cut-out template in the box to help guide your installation.

If your template is missing, you can:

• Use the dimensions above to mark the cut-out manually.

• Or download and print the correct template from the Installation tab on the Deluxe Aluminium product listing page at hakunapets.com or hakunapets.com.au.

How to Print the Template at 100% Scale

Many pet door templates are larger than A4. To print correctly at actual size, follow these tips:

1. Open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader (or another PDF viewer that allows scaling).

2. In the print settings, select:

   • Actual Size or 100% Scale

   • Poster or Tile Mode (this breaks the large template into multiple A4 sheets)

3. Print and align the pages using the markers provided in the PDF.

4. Tape the sheets together to form the full-size template.

TIP: Avoid "Fit to Page" or "Shrink to Fit" options – these will distort the dimensions.
