Essential - Spare Parts - How Do I Replace The Flap?

Small & Medium Sizes 

1. Remove the screws at the top of the frame holding the flap in place.

2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the metal strip that secures the flap.

3. Position the new flap inside the frame.

4. Press the metal strip back down to clasp the flap and reinsert the screws to secure it.

Tip: You may find it easier to remove the entire frame section with the flap and work on a flat surface for better control.

Large Size 

1. Remove the Frame: Unscrew and remove the section of the frame that contains the flap.

2. Insert the First Hinge: Position one hinge pin of the flap into the frame’s hinge hole.
3. Secure the Flap: Apply firm pressure to the centre top of the flap to flex it slightly and slot the second hinge pin into place.

Note: The plastic flap is designed to flex slightly, so it’s normal to use a bit of force to fit it securely into both hinge points.
